The clothes aren't very Season Specific.
Tops Selection: In my opinion, the styles for Tops are a little outdated. However, I found 2 great tops that I listed in the 2012 Holiday Picks. So, if I found some treasures in this, you will too!
Sweaters Selection: I didn't like the selection of sweaters- these items were outdated.
Dress Bottoms Selection: No Bottoms listed
Shoe Selection: No Shoes Listed
Outerwear Selection: The 4 coats listed were unique and stylish.
Accessories Selection: 12 pieces of colorful fashion necklaces listed.
Sales Selection: I felt that the Sales items were pricey for the items listed. The prices were too close to retail prices, in my opinion.
Perks: If you spend $50 you get free shipping.

My Notes:
I'm a big fan of cardigans, and at this moment (11/28/2012), this boutique has a unique selection of them. There are a lot of Tunics for the Tops category. If you like tunics, this boutique has some interesting finds.
Tops Selection: There wasn't much of a selection. There were a lot of Tunics.
Sweaters Selection: Cute and unique Cardigans
Dress Bottoms Selection: No Bottoms listed
Shoe Selection: 4 pairs of boots.
Dresses Selection:Outdated collection of dresses
Outerwear Selection: Not a unique selection...These are mixed with the cardigans.
Accessories Selection: Nice collection of necklaces! Must see...
Sales Selection: No Sales Items.
Perks: They have a PreSale section that allows you to Pre-order items before they hit the floor.

This boutique has an excellent web design. Not much of a clothing selection and the clothing pieces are expensive. HOWEVER, this boutique carries excellent and edgy jewelry that is very unique and AFFORDABLE. It's a must see...

Think of your Closet as a Collection, Not a Rag Storage Space!

I like to view my closet as a Collection rather than a place to store all my rags. And I like to view my individual items as "pieces" rather than "clothes". It's kind of like having a museum of who I am, rather than simply having a storage space for your junk.

Having this type of mind set about your clothes can give you a new respect for your fashion choices. I think appearance is important in many ways (self esteem boost, a hobby, healthy love for yourself... etc.)

There are many types of approaches to deciding what new "pieces" should fit into your "collection". The way I do it is,

1. I try to decide who I want the world to see me as first. I like the world to see me as polished, beautiful, unique and sensible. In my opinion, these features make an unforgettable woman!

2. I make a list of the clothes that I feel would make my closet collection more complete.

3. I list my favorite articles of clothing and decide to splurge on different colors and styles! For example: Pea coats :)

5 Reasons To Keep Your Beauty Salon Reservation

Life is hectic; it’s true. There are so many things that demand your time and attention. Between work, kids, family and household chores, there is precious little time left over for you. So, it is completely understandable why things like salon reservations get pushed to the end of your priority list. But is it at the end of the “to do” list where your next hair trim belongs?
The answer to that question is, of course, no. There are many reasons why you should keep your salon reservation. Aside from taking a little bit of time and relaxation for yourself, which I know is not going to motivate you since all of your energy goes toward enriching the lives of others and not your own, there are many practical reasons why you should not call and cancel your next reservation.
Here are 5 Reasons:
1. Keeping up with hair maintenance saves you time. You know how it is, your hair is doing just fine until that fateful morning on which you realize that your hair is way past due for a trim. It just won’t do anything. So, after hours of trying to coerce your hair into the style that it held beautifully just yesterday you resign yourself to the fact that nothing except a haircut will fix your bad hair day. But we all know that a spur-of-the-moment haircut is hard to come by. That means that you will spend the next week or so wasting time trying to style your overgrown locks while waiting for your reservation. Only if you would have kept your original reservation. You see, getting a regular trim, even if you think you can squeeze by another week or two, prevents this mess from happening in the first place. A cut that is the perfect length and shape will be a breeze to style in the mornings, and that will save you time.
2. Keeping your reservation saves you money. If your stylist has regular opportunities to keep your hair in tip top shape, he or she will have to do less in the long run to keep you looking beautiful. If you continually let your style grow out or let your color fade, your stylist will have to do more work to bring your wayward tresses back in line again. More work equals more time, and we all know that time equals money.
3. There is never a better time than today to get your hair done. Sure, we all think that we’ll have more time next week, that our work load will be less than it is today. But does that ever really happen? Let’s face it; next week will be just as busy as this week. And when you’re busy, a little bit of R & R will give you the energy that you need to keep going.
4. Another reservation is weeks away. Why do you go to your stylist? It’s because he or she is a fantastic stylist and knows your hair inside and out. Well, if your stylist is this great with you, I’m sure there are other clients dying for your stylist’s services. If you miss this reservation, it could be weeks before you get another one.
5. Keep your reservation out of respect. When you make a reservation, your stylist carves out time from a hectic day to cater to you. If you don’t show or cancel at the last minute, your stylist will end up sitting around making no money when he or she could have filled that time slot with another guest. Canceling reservations repeatedly may cause you to be placed on a pay in advance or last minute reservation list. Or even in some cases you can get fired for missing too many reservations.
Granted, sometimes things happen that make canceling an appointment a necessity. When this is the case, be sure to give a minimum 24 business hours and reschedule as soon as you can. Not only will your stylist thank you, but your hair will as well.

Love the Lashes You're With

You can have beautiful lashes naturally! You just have to learn how to take care of them. Not being careful with makeup application and removal can cause permanent damage to your lashes! A sign of improper eyelash care is that they begin to fall out frequently.

1. Stress and a bad diet can harm your eyelashes
2. Rubbing your eyes when you are tired can harm your eyelash hair folicle
3. Wearing water-proof mascara can dry your eyelashes and make them brittle
4. Sleeping in Mascara can break your eyelashes due to stiffness

1. Use a gentle eye makeup remover and gently dab at your eyelids to remove mascara. Do this instead of tugging at your eyelashes
2. When you use an eyelash curler, remember not to pull at your lashes
3. Toss your old mascara every 3 months
4. Use an eyelash conditioner

Take vitamins that promote healthy hair recommended by your doctor or nutritionist.

A trick to make your eyelashes appear fuller is to apply eyeliner as close to the base as possible.
